Rochelle Schweitzer is a classically trained pianist and has been studying piano since the age of six. Her formative training was at Punahou School Montague Hall. She later attended the Boston Conservatory of Music and holds the degree of B.Mus. in Piano Pedagogy from Eastern New Mexico University School of Music.
Over 30 years’ experience includes the following: Taught private piano in New Mexico, Rosenthal Conservatory of Music in San Antonio, Texas, Ellen Masaki School of Music, Mid-Pacific Institute, St. Andrews Priory, and Punahou Music School. She has also taught at the Birmingham Southern College (Conservatory of Music) in Birmingham, Al. where she taught private piano lessons and group theory lessons.
Rochelle has been a professional musician for forty years playing all types of music. She has played for various churches, modern, ballet, and improvisational dance classes and many choirs. She is currently at the La Pietra Hawaii School for Girls where she is the pianist for the select choir where they perform all types of music — pop, rock, jazz, funk, show tunes etc.
