Guitarist who graduated from the University of Hawaii’s Music Department with a degree in Performance on the classical guitar. After graduation, he spent 15 years teaching at various locations including five years at UH Manoa, seven years at Chaminade University, and several years with Adult Education. He was also the President of the Classical Guitar Society of Hawaii. During this time, he also performed regularly at restaurants and lounges, weddings, church services, and other special events. Mr. Nakamura fully enjoys sharing his experience and love of the guitar with aspiring musicians. He is also part of a new flute/guitar duo called Reverie. Mr. Nakamura teaches both guitar and ukulele at Manoa School of Music & the Arts.
